In the realm of high-end interior fit-out and design, the pursuit of excellence is a constant endeavour. The 71OZ Steakhouse by Aujan Interiors stands as a testament to our unwavering commitment to setting new standards of creativity, craftsmanship, and sustainability.
At the heart of the 71OZ Steakhouse lies a visionary concept rooted in Emirati culture and ambition. Conceived by four Emirati entrepreneurs, this local steakhouse in Ajman aimed to redefine the culinary landscape by offering the best steak in the region, all while serving the local market. What set this project apart was the unique involvement of the wife of one of the investors, who also happened to be a designer. Her vision laid the foundation for the project’s concept design, serving as a guiding light for the transformation of the restaurant.
The 71OZ Steakhouse’s design concept was a collaborative effort, merging the investor’s wife’s vision with Aujan Interiors’ expertise. Our team of designers, along with valuable input from our Project Manager, embarked on the journey of bringing this concept to life. The project demanded meticulous attention to detail, from the 3D renders to the tangible execution.
The design concept itself is a masterpiece, with a distinctive theme of green and white shades harmoniously complemented by the striking presence of black metal frames. The ceiling, a grid of metal, adds to the restaurant’s industrial-chic charm. A rich bronze tone permeates the space, creating an inviting ambiance. One notable aspect of the project is the incorporation of natural elements, thoughtfully integrated into both the design and material selection.
Material selection for the 71OZ Steakhouse was not a mere process but a carefully curated journey. The investor, the client, and our Project Manager collaborated intensively to handpick materials that would define the restaurant’s identity. The careful selection process was meticulous, ensuring that every material used aligned seamlessly with the project’s vision.
A recurring theme throughout the restaurant fitout is the use of sand, sourced from different regions of the UAE. These sands were transformed into planter boxes, adding texture and a touch of local authenticity to the space. The walls feature a unique textural quality achieved by incorporating local sand, marble powder, and sand materials, creating a stunning visual and tactile experience.
