Fit Out work of ‘We Play’

At Aujan Interiors, we believe in designing spaces that spark imagination, foster interaction, and create joyful experiences. We Play is a flagship project that perfectly embodies these values—a state-of-the-art indoor play space designed to redefine how children experience learning, creativity, and physical activity in an urban environment.

This project represents a harmonious fusion of design, innovation, safety, and functionality, created to engage young minds while providing a comfortable and welcoming space for families.

Project Vision

The core vision behind We Play was to craft a safe and stimulating environment where children can explore, play, and learn through hands-on interaction. With a strong focus on family bonding, the design also ensures that parents and caregivers feel just as comfortable as their children.

From the beginning, our objective was twofold:

  • Encourage imaginative and physical play

  • Integrate educational elements into the environment in a fun, accessible way

Key Features

  1. Thematic Play Zones
Each zone within We Play was designed around imaginative themes—from jungle adventures and space exploration to construction zones and creative arts. These themes encourage storytelling, roleplay, and active engagement, making every visit unique.
  2. Educational Integration
We incorporated interactive learning elements across the play area, blending play with subtle educational tools that support cognitive development and creativity. These include puzzle walls, sensory panels, STEM-inspired installations, and age-appropriate challenges.
  3. Personalized Party & Event Spaces
Dedicated zones were created to host personalized birthday parties, workshops, and community events. These flexible spaces are equipped with interactive lighting, thematic decor, and customizable settings to elevate every special occasion.
  4. Safety as a Core Principle
Safety was prioritized throughout the design and build process. From soft flooring and rounded edges to certified play equipment and emergency protocols, every detail complies with stringent safety standards without compromising on aesthetics or fun.
  5. Interactive Technology Elements
To complement traditional play structures, we introduced tech-integrated games and digital learning stations that foster engagement in a modern context. These features are designed to evolve with trends, ensuring relevance over time.
Overcoming Challenges

Every design challenge in We Play was viewed as an opportunity to innovate:

  • Space Optimization:
Creating distinct play zones within a limited area required careful space planning. We used vertical play structures, modular partitions, and multi-functional furniture to maximize utility without overcrowding.

  • Ensuring Universal Appeal:
The space needed to cater to a wide age range. We achieved this by designing tiered activity zones suitable for toddlers, young children, and early teens—all within visual proximity for parental supervision.

  • Compliance & Durability:
Given the high usage environment, materials were chosen for their durability, cleanability, and compliance with international child safety standards.
Design Methodology & Execution

The execution of We Play followed a structured design-build methodology:

  • User-Centric Research:
Through focus groups, surveys, and real-time observations, we gathered valuable insights from parents, children, and industry experts, which informed both spatial and interactive design decisions.

  • Collaboration & Communication:
Frequent stakeholder meetings, digital collaboration tools, and milestone-based planning ensured clear alignment across all phases of the project—from concept to completion.

  • Tech-Driven Design Tools:
We leveraged advanced design software and project management platforms to optimize layout planning, resource allocation, and build sequencing, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality.
Impact & Engagement

Since launch, We Play has become a dynamic hub for families, schools, and communities. Key outcomes include:

  • High footfall and repeat visitors

  • Positive parent and child feedback

  • Community partnerships for workshops and events

  • Enhanced brand value for the client

Beyond entertainment, the project promotes physical health, social interaction, and early childhood development—making it a valuable addition to the indoor recreation sector.

What Sets We Play Apart
    • Thematic and educational balance

    • Custom-built, child-centric design

    • Engaging for both children and parents

  • Designed for scalability and future expansion

These elements distinguish We Play from other indoor playgrounds, offering a richer, more meaningful experience.

Looking Forward

The adaptability of We Play’s design allows for scalability in both format and theme. Plans for future expansion include launching new branches in diverse markets, adding seasonal play zones, and integrating emerging technologies like augmented reality and AI-driven interactive systems.

Conclusion
